Thank You and Farewell

I would like to thank all of you for accepting me as Interim #3 and for sharing your faith journey with me during the last eight months.  I left a church in Wisconsin that I dearly loved in ordre to follow my husband as he returned "home" to Pennsylvania.  You were an answer to a prayer!  It was such a pleasure to be here and you probably gave and taught me much more than I was able to give.  The faith and love and commitment that I have seen in your leaders and in the membership at large was wonderful to behold.  There is great potential for your future, and we have certainly seen evidence of od's presence and power.  I wish you all the best as you enter into this new stage of your life together, and look forward to reading all about your successes.  Many of you have invited me to return to Orwigsburg for church picnics, Heritage Days, etc.  I appreciate your welcome and affection.  The Manual for Ministry requires, however, that interim pastors remain away from the congregation for one year once a new pastor is called.  I'm not staying away because I don't love and appreciate you, but because I DO.

Take care, and may God bless you all.
